Infeed Options
On Diamond egg graders there are several infeed options that will expand the flexability of your grader. All of these options below are available for the INNOVA series and some can also be added to the Diamond 2100, 8200, 8300, and 8400 series Graders.  | Pre-Accumulator Tables - These conveyor tables are used to gather eggs from a customers egg delivery belts and route them to the main accumulator table. Tables are available in many different lengths and widths to accomodate all different setups and any number of delivery belts. Eggs can be collected from the entry side as well as ether side of the table, then are gently transported from the egg deilvery belts to the grader accumulator table. |
| | Accumulator Tables - Accumulator tables are used to gather the eggs from egg delivery belts or from a preaccumulator table and orient them onto spool bars to feed the egg grader. Accumulater tables are available for the 2100, Innova 6W, 12W, and 18W graders. It is also available in two different lengths, 4 feet and 6 feet. |
| Loading Systems - Diamond offers loader/preloaders for all of our egg graders. Eggs are placed in stacks 6 high onto the pre loader, then are unstacked automatically onto tray carriers, then are transported automatically into the loading area. The eggs are then unloaded gently from the egg trays onto the spool conveyor of the grader. Most loaders have an optional in line tray washer. |
 | Washers - Our concept of side-to-side brush motion and high volume recirculating water is very gentle on the eggs, and has been designed for 6, 12 and 18 row egg graders, egg breakers or stand-alone systems with automatic packaging. Our high volume egg dryer does an excellent job on drying the eggs before grading and packing with optional egg oiling available. We build washers from 18,000 to 180,000 eggs per hour. Washer features include: - High-volume of water over the eggs, plus an optional presoak system. - Nozzle design with quick removal manifolds for cleaning. - No grease fittings or lubrication points inside the washer. - Eggs are protected from hot water during stops by a separate hot water tank. - High Efficiency, multi-tube Heat Exchangers for accurate temperature control of the cleaning solution. - Fabricated in Stainless Steel and available for steam or for hot water heating. - Optional Rotating Screen for removal of egg shells, egg yolks, egg whites and manure = Food Safety. This unit reduces the amount of cleaning chemicals required to clean the eggs and eliminates the need for de-foaming agents. It also reduces the bio-load of the residual water for reduced treatment costs. |
 | Spring Spools - Our spring spools are designed to keep leaking eggs from contaminating clean eggs on the infeed conveyor. The spools offer very little surface contact area to the eggs, which creates little to no cross contamination from leaking eggs. The open design of the spring spool allows leaking egg to fall through the spool bar and into the drip pans below. Our customers see their number of dirty eggs from cross contamination greatly decrease with the addition of a set of the spring spool bars. All spring spool bars are made of stainless steel and are available in regular stainless steel, or with a black food grade coating to reduce glare when using the spool bars on a vision system. |
