At Diamond we offer three different high efficiency plate heat exchanger frame options and 4 different plate options for product heating and cooling as well as pasteurization with capacities from 600 to 20,000+ liters per hour. Heat Exchanger frames: Silver: Low-cost alternative with 6 to 8 tie bars to keep the plate pack closed. This is an excellent heat exchanger for higher pressure applications, and applications that do not require daily or weekly access for quality control or government inspections. Gold: Single and double spindle options for quick access for maintenance and inspection. This unit can be fitted with a pneumatic or hydraulic motor for easy access. Platinum: Top of the line system with the only True hydraulic closer in the market. The unit has 2 to 4 independent hydraulic rams with an exclusive locking mechanism that allows for the hydraulic pressure to be released during operation. The system can close the heat exchanger in 3 minutes or less with a minimal amount of moving parts and eliminates the need of high wear screws used on other systems. Depending on the specific application we offer four different plate options: Conventional pattern plates: The time tested chevron and washboard style plates have been proven in many applications with chevron patterns offered in hi and low theta styles and multiple washboard plate configurations. Multi-pattern plates: Innovative multi-pattern plate allows for six flow channel configurations and more than 100 available combinations for optimal performance. Double wall plates: A great alternative to complex pressure differential controls or inefficient indirect regeneration sections. The double wall plate guarantees “risk-free” regeneration section independent from product pressures. Wide-gap plates: Our revolutionary ultra wide-gap plates will process your products with particulates of up to ¼ (6.3mm), which traditionally would be done in tubular heat exchangers, at a third of the cost and 25% of your valuable floor space.
