Diamond is very pleased to introduce an entirely new series of egg graders, the Innova. We started with a 200 case per hour 6 row machine for Europe with a new infeed to inspect and weigh the eggs well before the transfer into the basket conveyer. This allows the customer to weigh and reject undergrades as well as certain first quality sizes for breaking stock. It also cleaned up the packer end of the machine in European markets where eggs are not washed. The leakers are rejected right away and the balance of the undergrades are weighed and packed. We have been selling graders all over Europe since 1965 and is very familiar with these challenges along with denesting the wide variety of packaging material there. In the Western Hemisphere the new Innova will wash, inspect and weigh the eggs but not dry them until after the undergrades are rejected. The new Innova high velocity egg dryer will only receive first quality product eliminating blowing albumen from leakers onto good eggs. The transfer from the infeed to the egg conveyer is entirely new. It is a servo drive that is self timed with out the need for shear pins. If a foreign object gets into the transfer the system and components are well protected from damage. The waterproof servo drive and open design is easy to clean, lubricate and maintain. Diamond has this well proven concept operating in Europe, Canada, Latin America, Asia and the USA. We are now very pleased to be introducing both the 12 row and 18 row INNOVA with speeds up to 505 cases per hour. Electronics have been upgraded and simplified for more reliability, easier trouble shooting and expanded washdown features. New digital egg scales have improved weighing and increased egg size. Diamond now offers a complete range of machines that can be upgraded as a customers business grows or their markets change. Innova systems are available from 36,000 to 182,000 eggs per hour. They have the capacity range, proven reliability, efficiency, gentle egg handling, and ease of maintenance the high volume American egg industry needs and expects.
